I bought some Woof Double Lock brushing boots today - but they only had them in white

The ones I have been using for Bob were Josh's 'at home' set and they are pretty knackered so Bob needed some new ones...

Is there ANY way I can keep them white? I am execting the answer to be 'no' as I will be using them for schooling, hacking etc as well as warming up for competitions - and the yard is on lovely pink Redmarley mud

And can I get away with them for hunter trials?

I wouldnt dare wear them eventing, but doubt we can afford to event this year

My white brushing boots get used in all weathers, out hacking, etc, and get absolutely filthy.

I give them a good scrub with fairy liquid and a dandy brush then put them in the washing machine with some vanish. Ok, so they don't come up dazzling - but they come up more or less white, and look good considering the abuse they get. Frankly, I'd just let them get filthy - they won't last forever anyway.

I stick mine in the washing machine every couple of months

They are sparkly white again - ready to be made grubby again within days

I have the normal WW ones - two Sainsburys bio tabs at 20C and they come up a treat. If they are realling minging I add a dollop of Vanish

Our white Woof boots go in the wash at 40C, they go a bit cream-coloured over time. Have used them for small hunter trials on the ponies but they're really not protective enough for XC.
