My white jodhpurs cost me about 15 quid, are fairly comfy but already the stitching is going (only worn them a handful of times since I bought them), and are already see through when I put them on - so you can imagine what it's like when they're wet!
I'd like to get a new pair of white jods, but don't really know where to start. I haven't got a billion pounds to spend, something in the £30-£50 region would be ideal. Full seat if possible, and as un-see-through as I can get; it's tricky to see the see-through-ness in the shop pics!
Any ideas?
 
I got some white Derby House Windsor full seat breeches for about £25.00 each a few months ago. I think they are fab breeches and relatively un-see-through with a nice high waist. They came up a little small in size. I am normally a size 8 but had to go up to a 10. I went to buy another pair on their website the other day but they don't seem to do them at the moment. Maybe worth having a look around to find some.

Caldene 4 tech are good - nice and stretchy but they also last well. A bit thick for summer IMO but fine otherwise. They retail about £30 I think - I tend to get them off equestrian clearance where they are cheaper!
 
Hope Valley Saddlery have white Kingsland breeches in their sale, so they're around £45. I've not found mine to be see through at all.

Countryandstableoutlet on eBay usually have Horseware breeches for roughly £20 so it's probably worth checking there too.
 
Loveson jodphurs - I swear by them and they are only about £25-£30. I will only wear them and Legacy jods (Cheap and cheerful I know but would rather spend money on my horse than legwear for me lol) although Legacy ones do come up small. I get most of mine from eBay or Ingatestone Saddlery Centre when I'm back over in that neck of the woods.
 
Thanks everyone, I'll have a look through all these tonight! I don't compete too often right now, once a month usually, so don't want/need to spend a fortune but don't want everyone to see my bum!

When I win the lottery and buy a string of competition horses then I can splash out on some expensive jods ;)
 
Premier Equine - water proof, stain resistant, full seat, thick and higher waist, not see through.
They are about the £80 mark BUT they always have stuff in the sale or even returns. I got 2 pairs this time last year at £40 each :)
