white worms in water

I saw some white worms in my horses drinking water - i clean it regularly have never seen them before. DOes anyone have any ideas what they are? Dont worry i emptied and cleaned out and refilled just wondering what they are

I have seen them in the bottom of my horses water too, but only in the field and have always wondered how they get in there. Do they crawl in or do the horses get them out of the earth????

Its weird isnt it they are only in her field water as well. The only thing i can think is that they are some sort of insect breeding?

I would think they are horsehair worms
