After a good little debate in the competition forum about why equine sports are not being promoted enough, we came upon the topic of asking who would be the faces of equestrianism in the UK.
Now, look at other sports. You will notice that the ones that are on the billboards and given endorsements by Nike, etc often tend to be rather pretty (read that as meaning men who look smokingly hot even in speedos...A virtual no no for any mortal man). Equine sports need the same. Promotion and mass appeal... in other words beautiful ladies and handsome men. Shallow but true.
So my question to you is who are the real good looking riders and equestrian personalities? Who would you happily tune into watch to catch a glimpse of? Who would you like to see as the face of equestrianism?
As long as they are in the sport they can be included. No matter which discipline, whether it is horse racing to Vaulting. Regardless of nationality. If you think they are a good face to promote put them forward and show us pictures.
Discussion welcomed and encouraged.
