I think that's why people get banned. It's the only escape.

I am utterly exhausted (did a 24 hour shift) and you are not helping with your addictive thread and talk of morags and sausages.

Maybe that IS why

To be honest, i'm practically falling asleep talking to you. May have to call it a night/morning. Nighty night HHO

You can tell Ned we're not sure he deserves a mention after his recent attention-seeking antics.

It wasn't funny or clever of him to worry everyone like that.

I did tell him "You're not big and you're not clever! No, not all of the cool kids are doing it! Well, if all of the cool kids were jumping off a bridge, would you jump too?" He nodded and I gave up and sent him to his room! :p

Morning all, it seems I dropped the Starzaan bomb and then fell asleep!

Sorry Chestnut Tinker! Your thread was going so well.....but you see Starzaan is like Beetlejuice, say her name three times and the MORAGS are out!!! :D

I am VERY offended that my face doesn't get licked though ;)

I would be fine with it, BUT, I also did not receive a face lick. :(

Horses:
Ferg (JFTD)
CP (Worried1)
CS (PrincessSparkle - would love to know if/what CS stands for tho, lol)
(I lurk far more in C&T than here!)

People:
Worried1 - love her writing style & reports (& photos!)
Janet George, Equilibrium Ireland & TarrSteps- all no nonsense but rarely rude (imho) and with good sane advice
Lolo & JFTD - reports & stories/updates & crazy things
(sorry, can't stick to 3 people apparently!)

hi,

CS= Captain Sensible, so named because he is the least spooky horse in the world, generally a bit of a nobber in other way and certainly not a reliable ride, but flowers, flags, white boards, etc hold no fear for him.

has to be said he is not being massively sensible currently:

Not again :(

Little ******!!!

perversly, was very very pleased with this test, the rest of it was lovely and would have sscored 61.8-62.4 ish depending on whether he had got all 6's instead of 1's and 2's for the piris (and a 4 for submission) or if he had managed any 7's. he got 6.5 for the tempis and changes at C, which are usually solid 7 or even 7.5 so it could even have been higher without the nobbing induced tension!!!!!!!!
judge was very firm so would have been thrilled with that.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, we had 2 x brainwaves, so have tweaked things a bit this week to see if we can con him in to doing the piris on 4 legs this sun :)

if it doesnt work, im going to make him in to lasagne and take up dressage with the cats!!!!!!!!!!

Wowzers. I don't think you can say 'well sat', more like well hung on! I think you need to tell him his CS is liable to become Captain S88tbag if he carries on that like :p Or just waggle a lasagne at him in a threatening manner hehe.

Is it just the piris the toys are coming out of the pram for now? Do you think it's because he finds it difficult to 'sit?'

honestly i really dont know, at home he is doing tight, full piris fine, no problems, no sticking, no standing up, nadda. on this particular day he did a couple of piris each way in the warm up, again absolutely lovely, soft, forward, went in the ring and ejected the toys, came out straight back in warm up and did a piris each way-fine, never even thought about going up!!!!!!!!!!!
hence, i really dont think its physical.

i imagine its ring tension that comes out in his hardest movement.

he's never going to give this up completely, every day i get on him, he walks round fine, i ask him to go up a gear and he goes up (or tries to), he gets a biff, and tootles on his merry way absolutely fine.
