Never got out of grade 1, I'm currently training a new one, cockerpoo Teddy

Done the foundation courses with him and he's now 16 months; done tunnels and jumps so far.

I started agility with my daughters Lancashire Heeler last year, in grade 1 , getting round without being eliminated is still the main aim. I have mainly done independent shows, but am going to try a few more KC shows this year, tend to keep to Shropshire area but luckily there are quite a few shows round here.

I have a grade 3 Siberian husky and usually compete within an hour's radius of Shropshire (bumping in to MM along the way!), except for the odd ABC qualifier where we go further afield.

I compete at agility, Skye is grade 5 and Star is grade 3. I go to shows in Essex, Kent, E. Sussex, Surrey, Sufolk and KC Festival.

I used to do agility with Maya who is now nearly 13yrs old and a flatcoat. Tiva is in training but think we may stick with breed showing and obedience as I fear she will be too fast for me to keep up. I recommend dogs in need above the KC festival as DIN has a lovely holiday feel and is close to the Suffolk beaches

DIN is after KC Festival, so most people go to KC Festival and compete there for the weekend, leave there on the Monday morning and go along the A14 to DIN and then compete there for the week, I've done that for a couple of years, but last year did KC Festival, went home, went to DIN on the Tuesday and Wednesday, then went up to the British Flyball Summer Champs for the weekend.

Hoping to go to dogs in need this year. We compete our 2yr old rescue collie, grade 1. Just for fun and socialising.

Don't give up agility just because the dog is too fast! Adjust your handling - look into doing distance handling.

Unfortunately there is a time and cost consideration. Having started in working trials i never thought I would enjoy pure obedience but thanks to fabulous trainers tiva and I love it. I'm hoping tiva will be ready to start competing later this year, she had to start in novice as Lily won me out of beginners. Maya used to compete in 4 different disciplines but as i have got older I fear I need to concentrate on only 2 therefore competing in agility maybe the one to drop. I will continue to train tiva in agility , so any volunteers for handlers may be required later, just wait and see

We used to do agility only grade 1 and UKA shows down south, with my greyhound and oes x both loved it but flyball was our calling in the end :) both to old now.

I would love to get back into it, one day :)
