And what dogs do you run and shows do you attend ? I have a grade 2 collie and am about to bring my jrt out at the 3rd of this month... we compete around the Midlands
Yes, I was ring party on the last day!I went to the KC festival on the last day last year and got drowned
DIN is after KC Festival, so most people go to KC Festival and compete there for the weekend, leave there on the Monday morning and go along the A14 to DIN and then compete there for the week, I've done that for a couple of years, but last year did KC Festival, went home, went to DIN on the Tuesday and Wednesday, then went up to the British Flyball Summer Champs for the weekend.I used to do agility with Maya who is now nearly 13yrs old and a flatcoat. Tiva is in training but think we may stick with breed showing and obedience as I fear she will be too fast for me to keep up. I recommend dogs in need above the KC festival as DIN has a lovely holiday feel and is close to the Suffolk beaches

Unfortunately there is a time and cost consideration. Having started in working trials i never thought I would enjoy pure obedience but thanks to fabulous trainers tiva and I love it. I'm hoping tiva will be ready to start competing later this year, she had to start in novice as Lily won me out of beginners. Maya used to compete in 4 different disciplines but as i have got older I fear I need to concentrate on only 2 therefore competing in agility maybe the one to drop. I will continue to train tiva in agility , so any volunteers for handlers may be required later, just wait and seeDon't give up agility just because the dog is too fast! Adjust your handling - look into doing distance handling.
