Who doesn't use a noseband at all?

Never wear one anymore, not for hacking or lessons. It wa never tight enough to have an effect anyway, so it's just less tack to clean tbh!

I will put it back on if I ever compete again, purely for vanity :p

I don't use one and I'd only use a cavesson for cosmetic purposes - that's not to say I've never used one but nowadays I'm into training rather than gadgets.

I didn't use a noseband on my pony when I was younger - we would go xc and jump quite happily, he was quite young and always wanted to work hard for me.

I would like to take the noseband off my boy now, even just the drop bit of it, but I think I would probably be shouted down by the yard owner and other livery bods.

See...when I got my arab he very much went around like a giraffe and was prone to rears and spins....so I used a standing martingale whilst we worked on issues and now he doesn't wear that anymore, doesnt need it..

......I was fastening the noseband the other day and really....its doing nothing, its very loose.....and for vanity I think it would show his head off better without anything at all.

I havent removed it yet....its stubben and was pricey :D

Me! Will use a cavesson when required (showing/dr) or a grackle (occasionally xc though mostly run without one) but 99% of the time I don't use them :)

Me - unless required for dressage (drop)/showing (cavesson) :)

I hack/jump in pelham and double reins and a noseband adds nothing then and it is less to clean. Also my mare seems to suit it, she has a nice head :)

Some horses do look a little strange without (not that it matters a jot!)

I think I have an English bridle mouldering away on a hook somewhere that has a noseband on it.

Other bridles don't have browbands or throatlashes, let alone nosebands.

I do have a tie down (standing martingale on a noseband) which goes on anything that needs it, interchangable, just slips on and off like a halter and clips to the girth D.

I also have bosals and a hackamore, suppose they are nosebands, sort of.

I have never been one for nosebands as such, Seren did not wear one most of our years as it was of no use to us. I have not put one on nell so far not that she is ridden yet but I probably wont bother...

I don't have an issue with them at all but its one extra bit that I feel is not always needed

I don't have a noseband on my bridle, Saffy always has an itchy face and tries to rub head collars off, so I took the noseband off. She doesn't need it and if we ever get to doing dressage I'll put the cavesson on.

Nope - had to when competing, buy i think your standard cavesson is just cosmetic really, plus my arabs look even better without :D
