I did!!!

Bottle feeding the foalie and jumping all day :) In the sun! Then chilling with neddy for a graze inhand...not bad not bad! :)

My lad also jumped out of skin for the first time properly in ages...only had two rails down [both of which were my stupid fault for once] and did the water tray, a small course, dog legs, uprights which he actually picked his feet up properly over, barrels and even gave the fences some air! Then did him over 3'6 bareback to finish ;) Bliss!!!!! I love him.

And the stallion who's been backed and ridden for just under 2 weeks now, is now walk trot cantering and started doing ground pole work! He's a dude. I love him. They should ALL be like him.

What did you guys all do?

Yep - I had a good day too - half day at work so finished at 12.30 - came home and went to the chip shop with hubby. Did a little gardening, then texted a woman on the same yard to see if she wanted to hack out. We went out this evening for about 8.4miles - pretty dusky by the time we got back, but luckily most of the ride was on bridlepaths, and we explored a new path we had not been on before - home to shower and eat a lovely dinner cooked by husband and now on here reading posts.
 
Yes the sunshine makes all the difference. Put the two mares on a field they hadnt been in since last summer and they pranced and cantered round, so happy. Saw a little owl sitting on the fence post near me. The ground is nice and hard so easy to poo pick the field (!) mind you I need rain now. Only bad thing was a lovely fluffy baby bunny ....... was being eaten by my cat! YUK!!!
 
I did ! After a winter of hacking my youngster out, we went back to schooling today. She was an utter joy, forward going, happy, nice attitude and using her baby brain. Sheer pleasure.
 
Stuck inside until 3.30 doing exams -.- then came home to an extremely handsome (as always :D) neddie who came galloping in from the field, threw his headcollar on and tied his leadrope to each side, jumped on him bareback and pootled home! Gave him a super good brush as he's malting like mad (the yard is covered in black and White hair!) and did some schooling with a couple of jumps at the end for fun :) gypsys such a cool dude :cool: :D
 
Sounds like you've had a fabby day then ;) The stallion sounds very cooperative indeed, any piccys of him? I to had a pretty good day :D unfortunately i had to work to lunch *booo ... hiss* lol but then took baby pony on a hack and she led the whole way :D she was a star, so yep very happy pony (with extra din dins ;) ) and very happy mummy lol
 
He's not ours, so I don't like to post pics here without consent. But I'll PM you some if you want? :) He's a rather lovely Hairy fella :p
 
I had a gorgeous day! Up at yard for 8, tacked up and hacking out by 9, a lovely 2 hour hack in the sun and then sat and sunbathed until YO turned up then we both tidied the yard, had a picnic, and took the fencing down so the ponies can go onto the spring grazing!
Then home for a chinese - perfick!
 
I had a lovely day...sitting in a beer garden....all day....perfect day off from dissertation work :D

Would rather have been schooling Bruce though....
 
Binky sounds like such a good time! Much better then college!

Saying that all my teachers were striking yesterday so spent the whole day playing in the park and did the same today! (I can fit into baby swings- not sure if thats a good thing or not :p)

Also had my last ride at current yard today and my mum got some lovely pictures :)
 
I had a great day too! day off work - did some flatwork with pony today and he was getting better!

Then I went with a friend while she jumped her horse at instructors yard, they did xc mock stuff in the school, skinny ditches water trays and corners, all in wonderful angles! then they went down to do some of the real thing over the xc jumps in the field! was great to watch - horse went fab - not a hoof wrong and chuffed to bits for rider! :D
 
I'll dare to post some action bits from today....if this gets button pushed and sent to PG again, I will actually cry.

Only got the bareback shots atm :)
