We finally have been allowed at the livery yard to let the horses out in the feild after the majority have been inside since October! Yipppeeeeee :D merlyns staying out 24 hours now unless it goes really cold!

Mine have been out most days over the winter and will be coming in at nights until the grass is better. I certainly wouldn't consider taking a horse that had been in 24/7 for over six months and putting it outside 24/7 in one fell swoop.

My two go out every day in winter, in at night (unless the weathers really poor and they have to stay in)
Theyve been allowed out overnight now for 4 nights, so are now in through the day instead.
I dont think Id want to go from in 24/7 to out 24/7 in one go either

Sounds awful.

Mine have been out, at least some of the time all winter - well, I moved one back from a yard in January as their idea of winter turnout did not correlate with my own

All out 24/7 now anyway.

At my yard they are going out on Saturday and haven't been out in the field since this time last year. In winter they are in winter paddocks with no turnout :(

On our livery yard, we manage our own turnout. Therefore some continue to turn out all through winter, even when they have a bog, whilst others save turnout for dry spells.

Mine are out at the minute but I do try to look after my fields. I live in a very wet area, in a river valley and as last summer and winter were so exceptionally wet, mine have been in more than I would like.

But the sun is out and my welshie is enjoying a naked day :)

mine goes out during the day only :) she used to live out and she just turns feral very quickly - theres just no point :D

so she goes out about half 8 latest and in around 5ish :) plenty of time out :)
