at this time of year, playing in all the stubble fields?

I have very nice farmer around me who let us in as soon as they are cut. Today made a short hop to another farmer friend who said we could interval train in his big field.

BIG??? about 4k around the outside!! Brilliant as our interval training has reach the 3 x 5min stage, so smaller fields need several laps!

Happy, sunny, smiley 'I've been playing with my pony' post

we sort of erupted when we hit it for the first time a few weeks ago, I think my girl forgot that it was nearly stubble time which mean mindless cantering for as far as we please

I would be on them but my horse is too bloody foot sore (again!) having been shod on thursday. Just had shoe re-fitted today but he's till not right.

Can't take pony on stubble fields cos he's insane and can't handle the excitement (he's 21 now he just gets worse!) so all he does is spin and leap sideways and refuses to actually gallop even thought that's what he really wants to do!! Grrr. Willing horse to be sound soon

Me!
At last we have stubble! It has been cut late this year but last weekend we managed at last to go out for nearly 2 hours and hardly touched a road at all, we just popped into one field after another. Jerry loved it but I discovered his brakes were definitely a bit spongy!
