who feeds topspec?

My 12.2 dartie needed condition and eventually put on top spec feed balancer - have to be very careful as reacts to mollasses and coatings so not good on hifi , alpha a etc. but with alpha oil has no mollases and now looks fab.

my other dartie has gone from looking fab to a hard crest within two days so worried about laminitis - with grass coming through taken him off feed balancer - is anti lam the best for very good doers? ( also restricting his grazing)

both ponies in at night on hay & horsehage blue.

If he is prone to laminitus, swap him to the Anti Lam topspec balancer, or the Topspec supplement in a tub

Would also soak possible laminitics one hay, take him off hayledge and take him off Alfa if that is what he is on. Put him on Hifi Lite or something similar

Why dont you ring them they are really helpful.I have opposite problem tb who needs maintenance but they talked me through all the right products and I am really impressed with the results. They also sent all the literature which is useful.

hi, spoken to vet & topspec today - dartie who needed condition ifine.

Our now cresty dartie vet said to strip graze - topspec said no grazing - he was only on haapy hoof with feed balancer although now putting him on more hifi lite to make sure he gets fibre as doesnt eat much hay when stabled and horsehage blue is for lamanitics so not a problem.

Thats funny I am looking at literature because I have welsh cob who needs hoof supplement she is on healthy hoof as well but its not quite good enough for her feet.Like you I have one that needs condition tb(plus hoof supp) and one that I need to watch weight so I was going to change to hi fi lite too and use balancer for hooves.

Domi is on topspec antilam and I think its fantastic, he is just starting his second bag and I think he is looking really well

As mentioned before give them a ring or drop them an e mail. They are very friendly and informative.

Talk to Nicola at TopSpec, she is fab!

We have quite a few on TopSpec - Mare with foal at foot, 6 yr old WB gelding having pretty intensive schooling, 16 yr old ex racer that hunts and hacks, then I think there is another 5 or 6 on the yard fed on TopSpec too, they all look amazing!!
