As it was nice and Sophie was a bit sweaty after I'd ridden her, I decided to give her a bath.
Needless to day I was crenched head to toe and the water gun flew off the end of the hose pipe and I was doused in water!

Thankfully I was feeling a bit warm so it cooled me down.

Ponio seemed to enjoy it as she was half asleep when I was giving her belly a scrub!!

I washed my trailer, does that count? It's been stored under trees since end October and was green in places no Ifor Williams should be green... and there was grass growing in one of the sidelights

Gave my poor boy who is on box rest a bath, he loved it but he got a bit beside himself afterwards and was in his box bucking and rearing

He is now nicely dozy after a couple of acp buried in carrots

Well done! My OH would approve - he's non horsey other than adores supporting daughter, in the motor trade, and rants incessantly at shows about the amount of money these horsey people have he can't understand why these fancy horses are shipped to shows in boxes and lorries that look like they've never had a wash in their lives, surely they've enough money just to buy a new one if they can't be bothered to clean it! Ours is so pristine (w/o me having to clean it at all

), he was delighted to be asked where we bought our new box from (it's about 4 years old and we only got it this year)

Most my roof's still green as I couldn't reach it - OH came over all macho and was working out he could reach it by hooking a leg over the ramp and leaning just a bit backwards...
so I decided enough was enough. He's 45 not 25 and I can't afford a new husband or trailer!

i did, i played polo at 12 o clock today, died of over heating and then washed the horse, and partly me "by accident"

for once the grump sod stood still and let me spray her from head to toe! sweat was dripping off her today! too hot!

I DID!!

Perdy I really like the horse on ur sig - more piccies needed!

didnt bath him but gave him a head to toe sponge bath as he is petrified of water (arab) he didnt mind too much after the initial shock...if nice tomorrow may try to bath my yearling filly should be fun or maybe not!

Showering and bathing horses as a matter of routine every day in temps of nearly 30 degrees and very humid.SW France.

OH is 50. He just used the step ladder.

I didn't give a full bath but I did shampoo his mane, tail and feathers. His mane has gone very bouffant, I can't do a thing with it!
