My husband ois very good too...tries to take all the everyday pressures from me, does my mare during the week when I am at work...without any complaint, infact I think he kinda likes it really..tells me when i go up with him on my days off that i am not doing things right...oh well excuse me..lol he has his own routine makes me laugh!
And I love him dearly esp as he was with me and Merlin when we let him rest in peace!

mine is fab to, does the horses for me when i need him to (i think he would steal my gelding if i let him) in 2 yrs i have turned the most unhorsey person into someone who is even considering having lessons to learn to ride. he mucks out, poo picks, makes feeds haynets, changes rugs without being asked.

Bless him....

Mine used to be fairly helpful, but now only spectates, after my (then) 4yo tossed her head violently while he was taking them in for me, dislocating his shoulder in the process

These days the most he'll do is feed them carrots over the stable door - perhaps not surprisingly

Please can I borrow your boyfriend. Perhaps you can borrow my OH and train him up for me?

BTW if your £ sign give you # then £ should be where # is! It sounds like you have your keyboard set to US rather than UK. Don't know how to switch the setting on a mac though.

How about my husband then? He got up at 6am to turn my horse out before work because I'm tired and hormonal. He's coming fence judging at the weekend. He looks after my horses on the days he rides his share horse. He soaks hay, carries water buckets, does any heavy lifting and shifting, patiently waits if I'm riding my share horse, and has even been known to attempt mucking out.

He still needs schooling in mucking out, so any advice welcomed
