So from the sound of it lots of us have puppies so i want to hear all about your puppies tell me all about it including if you are up every night doing the toilet run. if you have a nipper or a sleeper.

I have a jack russell (3/4) cross norfolk terrier (1/4) he is 6 weeks old i know that is young. he had worms and ear mites when we got him but he is grand now.
He loves his food and his toys and loves to nip at us but im working on that.

What do you count as a puppy I have a 16month old who is a total sod right now, every thing thrown out of the window including recall which means all walks on the long line, and we are going back to classes next week and then agility classes in may.

Mine is 5 and a bit months old. I dont know where the time has gone. Hes still hit and miss with house training. Not because he doesnt understand, but because he chooses to use the house not the garden, if its cold/wet/dark etc. He sleeps through the night, and most of the day to be honest! And we have finally, fingers crossed, cracked the separation anxiety :D Hes also eating properly after 2 months of full blown anorexia. He is however a total kleptomaniac now. If he was a person he'd be in prison or therapy. Recall has suddenly disappeared and he has developed an obsession with trying to get into strangers houses and/or cars.

Reading that back he sounds like a demon, but hes actually the love of my life, and I couldnt bear to be without him. He is the most loyal and loving dog I have ever met and I would recommend a whippet to anyone. I would just recommend they got a 2 yr old whippet not a puppy! :D

Me! We have a 3 months old Cairn called Polly, she's a little monkey really lol! Into everything, she loves her little walks and eats her food within 5 seconds.

Sleeping all night without a murmur and is usually clean overnight. Daytimes, she sleeps little and wants to play all the time if you're about, she sometimes will go to the back door to be let out, or will use the paper.

She loves jumping on our JR ( who is 10 and sometimes puts up with it, sometimes snaps at her )

All in all a lovely little puppy who brings a big smile to my face :)

i think anything can be classed as a puppy :D:D

they are funny arent they i think our last dog was so old for so long that going back to puppy can be hard. but on the whole its lovely like the way he pretty much gets in his food bowl when he eats and he stares at you and then when you look at him he pounces and its a full on attack :D:D

so what have you learnt?? i have learnt when mickey wakes up straight to the loo and when he looks funny straight to the loo, watch what you leave on the floor (he had my bra the other day :D)
you also have to draw the line on how many toilet roll insides you throw at them otherwise you house starts to look like you have not cleaned for an eternity lol

He was a shy, timid little thing when I first got him but hes come on lots since then. Often sleeps through the night, maybe getting up once if he needs to go, no accidents in the house for at least two weeks now :)

Hes about 16 weeks old, he knows sit, he knows when his dinner bowl is put on the floor he has to sit and wait until hes told he can have it. Hes a good boy :)

I have 3 from the ages of 8 weeks to 6 months. All working Springer Spaniels.

The 8 week olds are 2 brothers and my 6 month old is a lovely bitch.

Will try and look out some pictures.

I have two malamute pups - 6 months old, brother and sister - eeek! Love them to bits, but bloody hell they are hard work. We've always had samoyeds - gorgeous and loveably easy to do, and these are a huge step up!

They will be sled dogs, and have started directional training already - doing really well.

They've got their first show tomorrow, so that'll be fun

I really wouldn't recommend them to anyone! We did 4 years of research into the breed, breeders, and sledding generally, and then had to wait another 3 years for right litter from the right bitch. And we still weren't ready for the whirlwinds that descended on us :D

Wouldn't be without them though ( although our 10 year old samoyed might disagree, and our cats certainly would)

We have a almost five month old dark grizzle Border Terrier, called Teddy he is fab, full of fun and almost house trained, he is also in a crate at night and is clean. At the moment he is coming back when called, well almost everytime!!! He is a greedy little man, and we have to put his kibble in an extra large dog bowl to slow him down when he eats.

5 month old JRT x Spitz,
Evie has been amazing, from the day I brought her home at 8 weeks she has never messed in her Crete over night, had a few days when she went in the day time and that was it. I work on a yard, she comes hacking round the fields with me, mucking out all duties she's around. Her only cheeky thing is she will always come back when called but I can't always catch/pick her up. But I'm working on that. Couldnt imagin life without her.

i have and 11 month old Bedlington never nipped anything, slept through the night at 8 weeks old, was house trained immediately and had recall at 12 weeks. A truly amazing dog, the calmest puppy I have ever known and the most laid back pup ever. Hard to believe he will be 1 on the second of April.
