Who has actually made a sale from their "How much"/"critique my ad" post?

Have you made a sale from posting a "How much?" or "Critique my ad" thread?

Following on from the admin's post that these posts are no longer allowed I'm curious to see if anyone has actually achieved a sale from their post? I put a post up a while ago asking how to sell in a flooded market. I had no sale intention from the outset. However had requests to see the ad so posted a link. We have since taken the horse off the market and didn't sell her.

I think it is a silly rule, I like those posts, I have a horse for sale at the mo and he isn't selling, I would love to discuss it on here but I don't dare

He is on the H&H web site so they should make the rule that if you have paid H&H for the ad you can post the link

I can't think that many horses would be sold through HHO.

Perhaps I shouldn't say that I have bought three horses through this forum?

First was a "Why isn't this horse selling?" type of post. This particular horse was also advertised on H&H classifieds.
Second was an "Are any horses selling?" type of post where people listed what they had for sale.
Third was a "Why aren't people interested in my ad?" type of post.

:o:o:o:o:o

I love looking at these posts too. And because I have trawled through thousands of ads when horsehunting, I feel I can give good advice on why I would skip through certain ads due to how it is worded, pictures etc.
Plus I'm a nosy parker!
But I wouldn't be buying as I'm skint now!

Oops, pressed button before I'd finished...
Maybe Admin don't like these posts going up as the advice we give is so excellent that the horses get sold too quickly and they don't make any money because the ads aren't on long enough!

Yes, I made a sale from one of these posts last year, non intentional, just asking for advice!
Anyway to cut a long story short i wished i hadn'e sold the horse to said person as they only kept her for 2 months and i was promised she would have a home for life. Now god knows where she is! And it is very hard stumbling upon said persons posts on here still and having to bit emy tongue!
