Who has Ariat Conistons?

I have a pair and I love them, but I have never ridden in them, or actually done much horsey in them as they are too nice - I wear them to go to spectate at events, watch the boys play rugby....once my Toggi boots have died they may get to come mucking out, but after 18 months they are still horse wee free :D

Just realised how sad that is, but I love boots!

I used to have a pair but the zip broke really quickly so Ariat replaced them and the zip broke on that pair too so I refused a third pair and bought Grasmeres instead.

Ariat are aware that there is a design fault with the older Conistons so if you're thinking of buying a pair try to make sure that they are new stock :)

Fan-bloomin-tastic! The best boots I've ever had. I had warm, dry, toasty feet all winter and during the summer my feet never seem to overheat in them. Very comfortable to ride in and great around the yard. They scrub up well too.

The only issue I have had is that the tags on the zips broke (probably as a result of me tugging to hard!) but this has been solved by my local shoe-repairers who have put split rings and a short length of leather on the zips instead. They are much easier to do up now.

Can anyone read the code on the inside tab starting with 450000 or a J?
Looking at another post I think this detemines the old style to the new improved, so I know what to avoid if you have post Sept 2010 boots, what is your code?

Can't comment on the Coniston, but I have the Windermeres.

Love 'em! I'm normally a size 8, but got away with a 7, so the sizing is quite generous. I keep them soft with leather balsam.

I also have a pair of Ariat riding boots, which are equally comfy
