Who has bought/ rehomed/ found loans through HHO?

Who has rehomed animals through here, or bought a horse through someone here, or found a loan through here, or maybe even a human friend :)


I have had two lovely dogs through here (on the AAD forum)

Teal who is currently asleep on my feet and Will who I lost in Sept at 15.5yrs old.
 
not through HHo but 2 of mine came to me through another forum, and the youngster came because of recommendation of the breeder from a 'friend' on the forum:D never underestimate the power of forums i say;)
 
I have rehomed one of my horses to a member on here, she has done really well with him and he lives the life of riley! He is now having a little break whilst she has her baby but she can't wait to get back on him!! A very good friend of mine on here found me one of my horses, 2 days before his advert went on H&H, and she's not even in the UK :)
 
I have bought two from forum members, bought one that was recommended by a past forum member, sold two to infrequent forum visitors and have one out as a companion to a forum member's horse.

Cripes, I sound like a dealer!
 
I rehomed Puffin ( the appaloosa which had the massive long hoo haa of a thread!). He is a super pony and has fitted in the school perfectly!

The pony mentioned above is now on loan to us!!!!
Found purely by chance, couldn't find any on all the various websites, looking for something for my friends kids to ride, had put a thread on the forum asking where else to look and got a PM from a HHO about her pony.
We've had him just over a month now and the kids are getting on great with him and he's got all his new fancy dead sheep to wear on his headcollar/bridle/boots/saddle, the fact he's grey probably wouldn't help except the dead sheep that are all over him are in various colours (pale blue being the current favourite!!!).
*whispers* I want to get him a zebra stripe fleecy rug because he's grey, but they won't let me, something about it making him look silly!!!!
 
I have loaned out to a previous/ now not so frequent forum member.

I have also met a friend through here who I am bridesmade for next year.

No problem! I took him round XC for them a few years ago and we came 3rd - we were too fast! He is a real poppet has a woman that rides him a few times a week for Kate who adores him. He lives the life of Riley :) Good job I bumped into you on here really :)
 
I bought Tommy Tucker from ColleenMissTom two and a half years ago - older forum members may remember her frequent posts about him :) - he's now on his second child of mine :D I am hoping second child won't grow too fast ;)
 
I have loaned my mini mare to Jess and Charlie.....in fact I dont even class her as mine anymore...she is definately jess' and spoilt rotten.
Human wise I have been really lucky to meet several fellow HHO'ers who are all definately great friends now.
 
Through HHO I found someone (now a friend) to school a mare of mine when her foal was weaned and same friend now has the "foal" (now a 4 year old) that she is schooling into an eventer for me (we hope to sell her next year)

oh, and through same friend, I have the Arab in my avatar on loan!
 
I bought my boy and found his owner on here afterwards :) Just confirmed how genuine the sale and seller was for me. She had done a thread asking for a price on him earlier in the year :D - Lots of you wanted him!!
