I'm not sure why they took so much offense....their forum is obviously a bit 'nice' and they can't handle people being truthful!

ETA looks like they have all registered and hijacked the thread...rather annoying!!

ETA shall we all join their forum and hijack their thread or would that just be immature?

GO GIRLS - looks like the people originally posting on the unfriendly HHforum have now gone to ground. well done everyone - this makes us realise how close knit we are on here and how much we appreciate SFAS.

No I don't think HHO forum is unfriendly. I did SFAS last year and this year. Last year I rode better than this year - yesterday I was too F*** tense and judge said he gave him a lovely ride. He was too tense in the neck and i couldn't stop fixing my hands.

No doubt my efforts gave some people a good gossip but at least I've put my money where my mouth is and had a go. But if anyone wants to ride my horse better than me I'm happy to let them have a go.

Have just spend approx 40 mins trying to register on this forum just in order to reply to the comments on SFAS.

[/ QUOTE ]

How on earth did it take this poster 40 minutes to register on this forum? I seem to think it took me about a couple of minutes max????

Oh well - maybe they will all disappear back off to their "wonderful" SFAS forum again.....

It is almost akin to when we start a debate about Parelli. Suddenly, out of seemingly no where, comes 10-20 newly registered members who all have been "lurking" and just happen to come across the thread.

How juvenile to judge the entire forum on the views expressed within one thread????!! I could hardly believe what they had said about this being such an unfriendly place
mad.gif
They obviously haven't stumbled across the many threads in which tons and tons of users give support to others with horsey and non-horsey problems.

Well some people have gone and they thought it was c**p, they are allowed to have their own opinion, that isnt disrespectful to the people on the forum personally. N as for them asking the others on SFAS forum for 'back-up' all i have to say is gosh, how old are you guys, 10?

Well, you were all being pathetic, all coming on a forum that is sooo 'unfriendly' in your own words just to argue the fact that in your opinion SFAS isnt c**p. The people on here that have been are entitled to their own opinion and if you dont like it then dont read it.. it's really not that difficult.

In my original post I didn't say it was an unfriendly forum - i said it was USER unfriendly - ie. not user friendly.

As I have said before I won't be told which forums I can and can't post on. I didn't just join this forum to join in with the SFAS thread - I have been a member under my current user name for a few months, and under a different user name before that. Generally people on here are as friendly as on any other forum but you lot - well!

Wow what an aggressive response.

The people who posted regarding SFAS obviously felt that they wanted to get their views across on a thread they thought was misleading. And why shouldn't they? An awful lot of what was being said was inaccurate, so it makes sense that these people corrected it.

This is also a public forum, and anyone is permitted to come on here and voice an opinion - and share in a discussion that is going on.

You are posting for an argument. You've lumped me in with that little mini rant. So please tell me where in my previous post I was unpleasant towards SFAS?

I've read the SFAS forum, it is unpleasant. People are allowed different opinions.

I don't understand why someone who has stated that this forum is unfriendly would want to post here.

Oh, and by the way, click on previous winners 2007 in the SFAS, Allington. I'll not name which class but I know more about SFAS that you think

Yes, this is an aggresive response as i dont think categorising the whole HHO forum as 'unfriendly' 'sour grapes' was a fair thing to say and was personally offended as none of the threads i have posted on were unfriendly up until this point(nor any i have read TBO) and i completely do not get where they were coming. I do believe they were being pety and childish, all of them becoming members just to argue on a forum.. the forum was about a SFAS competition and peoples opinions that have been to it... they can stick up for SFAS without being offensive and this is why they got this *response* . I do not need to justify anything i have said.

[/ QUOTE ]if it is not their personal opinion does it make it ignorant?

Anyway i think you get my point. And my comment was not directed at any1 peronally apart from the reply to 1 of the comments and all of that was not pointed to her personally including the part that said if they dont like the forum dont use it(that was personally pointed at all those who signed up just to argue that were calling the HHO forum a bunch of unfriendly people)

i don't have any input regarding SFAS as i know nowt about it, BUT i do hgave to agree with some of the views regarding the friendliness of this forum. i do think it is one of the most cliquey forums on the net, take the dreaded "how much" posts....popular forum member's horses are always bigged up to stupid amounts of money, less popular new members are made to feel as if their animal is only fir for the knackers.
then a friend of mine was on the recieveing end of some VERY nasty remarks regarding spelling/language abilities, this poster has severe learning difficulties...no one bothered to find that out they just went in for the kill.
so i do think ythis forum can be a very nasty place to be at times, BUT having said that the upside is that there is alot of good sound advice from knowlegable people to be had on here which make it worthwhile.

I suggest you do a poll then of HHO members to see how many of us have registered on another site to voice our opinions on something we feel strongly about - you may be suprised.

As for feeling personally insulted - don't be daft....
