Havn't seen mine since thurs as my car is awful on snow/ice. My poor friend has been doing them twice a day as thank god she has a 4x4. I feel very guilty but hope to be able to get up on weds!!! Fed up of snow and ice now xx

me! I haven't seen mine in over a week! Due to work hours, unfloodlight school and field a distance away as well as snow I havne't had a chance to see her. Thankfully she's on full grass livery so happy as larry!

I have only missed one day because of getting stuck in town on saturday. Mine are out with a bale of hay and the farmer on site smashd my water so they just missed a bucket of chaff feed.

I feel so sorry for you guys that havent seen your neddys for such a long time. x

i am lucky that i am usually still able to make it to the yard when it's icy, even if i have to walk a mile or so.

However not happy today as have had to have my two on full livery because i've got the flu *boo hoo* i miss seeing them already.

aw supertrooper that's awful! luckily roads ok ish here so my car can now move, previously myn lovely darling wonderful frined Rudey has picking me up in her 4x4 and taking me up of an evening and my darling friend whitey was sorting him in the morning. I do feel for you i moan about being cold when I'm there but i'd miss him loads if I couldn't get up!!! xx

Haven't seen mine since sat - road to the yard is an ice rink. Ours are out at the min so others are sorting hay and water, decided going to park at the top of the road and walk down tomorrow - taking a long lunch from work cos not fancying the single track lane in the pitch black after work. Miss my girl!

This is the first day I haven't been able to get out of my house in the car. We live halfway up a very steep hill, and the communal grit-box is empty so no one is able to exit our cul-de-sac for the time being. I recon the snow is too deep right now anyway. It's about 14 inches deep ATM. Even walking is treacherous, it's SOOOO slippery going down the hill. Wish I'd bought some of those shoe-spikes now.

Sure hope it thaws before Christmas as we've got no food in yet. Could be a very dismal Christmas Day for us and the four kids unless things thaw! Guess my diet could be starting early this year.

YO will chuck hay in and top up water but wont do anything else, so I'm dreading what the beds are going to be like when I can get up there. The horses will also be mighty p'ed off not having had their hard feeds today :(

meeeeeeeeee, damn snow I live in exeter city and its a night mare, my neddy is 12 miles away in a village that is currently cut off!

mulled cider, mulledwine, and cheesy chips oh and a baileys hot choccie.. not to mention fab company.. it wqas a goood day after all

Havent seen my boy since Friday. I live about 12 miles from my yard and the other owners who have been going everyday are much more local. They have been doing everything for everyone so I havent tried to get there. Not much point going out when its all done for me. Only thing that slightly worries me is that the other owners arent very experienced (one put my boy out in his stable rug one day!!). My YO has been in hospital with a virus so is now having to rest and not do any stable duties but i'm sure she's keeping an eye on things.
