Anybody else reaping the rewards of a quiet night last night? A long hack in the back end of nowhere with a thermos flask of coffee sounds like a plan! oh and some shortbreads :D
 
I'm jealous - hangover free, but got to work, no official hacking for me today, but might knock off early and see if I can get the fluffy chocolate whale on legs out.
 
ooo will have the coffee and shortbreads but no hacking - like a mud bath where I am at the mo. But yeah I am clear headed - was in bed for 10 and then woke at 12 - thought WWIII had broken out (Fireworks) and then back to sleep! LOL party animal or what :)
 
Yup i feel great, done the house clean already and feel full of energy!
it has its down parts tho, everyone i know drank last night so they are all suffering this morning and dongt want to do anything lol....

im bouncing of the walls here wanna do something lol and it is only 10.15
 
I haven't got a hangover, but was out partying until about 2pm, and have definitely got the munchies! Off for a little half an hour hack around the block, and then we're decided that we really must give the house a good wash and brush up!
 
Me...in bed by ten, asleep by eleven.
Would love a new years day ride, but our paddock and paths are still all ice so a new year cuddle with my fluffy polar bear will have to do me x
 
I haven't :D Was in work until midnight so never went out partying... Was quite disappointed I couldn't but I feel great and my little pooch needed me more cos he was terrified of the fireworks... Off to the yard to ride :) Much better start to the new year then laying in bed all day feeling sick!

But I am veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry tired :(. Woke up far too early :(. Been up at five every morning, doing silly hour days, umpteen hours of motorway driving, etc. etc. etc., and after staying up 'till midnight, had hoped to have a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong lie-in, but is not to be.

Happy New Year whinge :D :D :D
 
ME I haven't!
Because I didn't make it to the blinking party last night, got on the wrong train- was meant to be going to Dorset ended up in Somerset!!! :( Oh well atleast I haven't got a banging headache :)

Have turned horses out - is raining here now - and walked the dogs. The shoot is here this morning and the hunt is coming through this afternoon so all a bit chaotic when your horse has hunted;) riding could be interesting.....;):)

Just had a bacon sarnie and a cuppa - can now decide on the rest of the day while drooling over James Martin:D:D
 
Not me! :D

I don't drink copious amounts anyway, but didn't even finish my one glass of wine as I burnt the roof of my mouth the other day and it's sore! Not really managing to eat much either, good for the waistline however!
 
No hangover, but may feel better if I did, daughter has kindly passed on her Christmas lurgy and I feel like death warmed up, breathing is proving exhausting, sneezing with a bad back painful beyond belief and coughing is making me wheeze. On plus front OH, bless him is sorting out the horses.

No hangover for me either!! Happy New Year to everyone!! New Years Resolutution to get my first horse as an adult so better start as i mean to carry on so im off for a spot of online horsey shopping!! :D
 
Not meeeee :)


Went to a party at my daughters but I was the designated driver so drank coke all night :rolleyes: Went to bed about 3 and was woken up by the police and ambulance service knocking on my door by 3.30 :eek: Turns out the girl that lives next door had had too much too drink and had started self harming :( She was refusing to go to hospital but they couldn't leave her either so needed someone to take responsibility for her as her fella was worse for wear too :rolleyes: All was sorted and I was back in my bed by 4.30 Managed to sleep through until 9.15 when hubby's phone rang

AB you have my sympathies for having the lurgey :( Hubby and 2 eldest sons have been poorly for the last couple of days. All with different things though :eek: :rolleyes: Hope you feel better soon

No hangover, but that's because I'm still so disgustingly unwell. I'm getting so depressed that each day I seem worse! Went to doctors again yesterday and am on new pills so maybe they will start to work. Sorry for the self pitying post, its just getting me down that I can't walk more than 5 paces, have only been able to eat 1 dry slice toast a day and my brain is full of cotton wool.
 
Nope - very rare I get hangovers. During my heavy drinking days I was the irritating git who drank as much as the next man and then woke up early the next day full of the joys of spring and rushed round the house waving interesting alcoholic concoctions made of all the leftovers under the noses of the somnolent and hungover. Hoovering was, of course, only to be helpful:D
