I have a love/hate job! I am a student but work in an Italian restaurant. Pay is horrendous, tips already on bill so doesnt make up for it. Hours are unbelievably anti-social (50 odd a week), most nights dont leave restaurant until gone midnight - up for horse by 7 (totally worth it tho as he always looks pleased to see me!)

But I do work with some fab people and have a real laugh sometimes so shouldnt really complain.

Studying for a psychology degree so hopefully in a few years time will have qualified and do something I love

I have worked in events for a long time and was lucky enough to be found by a recruitment consultant when Your Horse Live were looking.

Its hard work and there's definitely pressure to create the best event you can for both visitors and exhibitors, but I love it.

I love my job! I'm an Equine Apprentice at a Large Equestrian Centre. So obviously I love it because I get to be around horses all day! Also I keep my horses at the same yard which is really good! The ony downsides are that I work 40 hours a week and I get really tired because I do a lot of work on the yard. It isn't the best pay but I'm currently studying for my NVQ Level 2 and then I'm going to do my bHS Stage Exams so as I become more qualified obviously the amount I am paid will be increased. But tbh I would rather be happy and enjoy my job than have a horrible job just because I got a lot of money for it!

i love my job! i run a pet grooming business from home. i fit it around school hours and give myself time to spend with my horse as much as poss. i love animals and this job is perfect for me!!

I'm a support worker for Mencap, I support people who have learning disabilities, not the same as learning difficulties. I love it, I have had so many jobs, mainly horsey ones until 3 years ago and I have never looked back it is by far the most interesting and rewarding job I could have ever dreamed of! It has opened my eyes to so much, both good and bad.
I do still have days where I could scream though!
