I normally have to give it to my girlie around October time as she starts loosing condition.

I've noticed she's started dropping off a little earlier this year and I'm going to start feed sugar beet this week.

Anybody else found the horse dropping a little weight already?

I feed it to my old girl all year round!

Mine get Speedibeet all year round, very sloppy to moisten their feeds in summer, but already up to half a scoop (soaked) now and increasing.

My horse has been on Kwikbeet all this summer and conditioning cubes

. Grazing is pretty poor and he is getting on in age now. First year this year that he's been fed in summer though. I've just started giving my dad's horse a bit of beet in his small feed too. Another horse we have was having some molassed beet but once he'd put some condition on he was starting to get too bolshy so he's on some hayledge now instead!

Nope my native is a good doer and SB gives him scour so I avoid it.

I don't know about scour, but ours certainly don't need the calories! Awful stuff, messy and faffy. I use water to moisten the feeds...

Poor Jake has a sugar intolerance, including grass. Makes him itch and fidget too.

just started feeding alfabeet to my youngsters this week as condition starting to drop. Grass seems to have stopped growing.

i feed speediebeat to my boy all year round, it just gets upped in the wintertime. but he looses weight faster than he gains it

I feed it all year round - it makes a bit of chaff and supplements into a yummy dinner as far as my two are concerned
