Who is/was your hero?

Riders: Nick Skelton, John & Michael Whittaker, Caroline Radley, Eddie Macken and Tim Stockdale.

Horses: Ryans Son, Tigre, Everest Lastic and Red Rum.

I also loved Hugo Simon and Gladstone. I always thought he looked like a pea on a drum who would fall off at any minute as Gladstone went tearing round the course! And Anette Lewis with her legs flying high up into the air over every jump!
 
Gillian Rolton on Peppermint Grove who won gold at 1996 Olympics despite a broken collarbone and ribs.

Michelle Payne who won the 2015 Melbourne Cup with style.

For my horse hero I can't go past Geoffrey the Conqueror, the free ranging NZ shettie.
