Who issues your passports???

Just wondering who issues your passports?? Over here we have the IHB, who is in charge for you, just trying to trace a few horses and dont know who to contact??

My boy is with the Irish draught society (GB).The British horse society also have issued alot of passports.

Mine had a perfectly good JMB one that DEFRA didn't like so have got a Sports Horse GB one and now just upgraded to an FEI due to competition requirements included the dreaded flu vacc every six months thingy.

If you search on the DEFRA site they list all the issuing authorities which range through breed societies, various disciplines and other societies, even auction houses issue some, there are dozens - and they don't have a common database

Milly's is an GB Irish Draught passport and Jerry has a Pleasure Horse Society passport.
