who keeps their horse at a yard they really love?

What makes is a happy place? Lovely, friendly, supportive YO and liveries. No one forces their opinions on you, but are willing to give advice when asked. Lovely facilities and hacking is good too.
The fact that all the horses are so relaxed and chilled out.
 
Our yard is brilliant – me and my friend rent it off a lovely old lady that used to keep horses years ago – she lets us treat it as our own but is there when we need her for repairs etc. Very muddy but with 24/7 turnout all year and a lovely American type barn with huuuuge kitchen for hot chocolate moments, what else do you need?? Nothing worse than having to share with someone you really don’t like … we’ve had a few on over the years – one person with one horse or two people with two horses – now all stables are taken with mine and a friends … PERFECT! x
 
Me. My horses are happy, I have some lovely friends at my yard, my dogs are welcome and love it there too and its nice and close to home. Its my second home so lucky I am happy there!
 
I love my yard. People are lovely and all get on, helpful YO, good turnout, outdoor school, full set of jumps and xc course. We all have plenty of storage space and facilities are great.

The only downside it has is you have to cross a busy ish road to hack out but is fine if you pick your time. Can hack to beach easily so always a bonus.

Never want to leave and main thing is the horses are so happy and chilled :)
