Reading all these livery threads and wonder if I'm not at the perfect yard? :D It's not posh but we have a school, electricity, running water and a secure tack room. Don't have to buy hay or shavings from YO, can keep my trailer there for free, often hitch rides with YO to shows in their lorry, near my house, it's reasonably priced AND the best part is, all the liveries get on!

Mucking out takes twice as long as I'm often gabbing to the other liveries or YO. I just love it.

Fess up, who loves their yard? :D

Me! Before it I went through a stage of moving every 3 months (various reasons) and I've been here for well over 2 years :)

Me me me. We all get on, the horses are great, yard is small and friendly... Brilliant really - nothing to moan about! :-)

Me! Left it for about 12 months and absence definitely makes the heart grow finder! Never should have left!
Left due to another livery who was a ......(insert your own word!). When I got wind she was leaving I rang the YO and reserved her stable so she couldn't come back! It is an awesome yard now with fab people! Love it! Only thing I'd change is to have more turnout and in groups

Phew! Glad I'm not some weirdo on my own who loves their yard :D

We all help each other out too, like we'll bring in each other's horses (even the YO!) and will feed them whoever gets down first. when the YO went on hols, I looked after their horses and when I went away, they looked after my mare and sent me updates on Facebook. It's like a big family!

Me!! I've very lucky as it's my first livery yard and it's great! All the liveries are fab, yo is amazing, we've got gorgeous stables in an American barn, massive floodlit school, walker, the list goes on, I love it there! And so does my boy! :D

ME!
Socialise with others.
Quiet time me and my girls.
YO is lovely and fixes things within reasonable time frames.
Fab facilities.
A little roadwork and then great hacking.

Bitchiness tends to happen in summer, but I keep out of it. A couple of little things that bother me now and then, (but hey, not enough to upset me or cause hassle so I can live with them and there's always going to be something on a yard that's not perfect.) :D

I like my livery yard and I think for my and my horses needs, the best one in the area.
There are things I wish we're different or done differently but unless you have your own place you have to put up and shut up or move.

Me.
Decent facilities. Lovely hacking. All year turnout. Friendly bunch who will help out where ever possible and we have a cracking night out and a fast hack the next day :)

Me! Lovely yo, so laid back, a couple or *ahem* interesting liveries :D apart from that wondeful, excellent turnout, school hacking, laid back horse :), the only thing i wish there was a toilet!

Another yes. Great facilities.20 of us and we all get on, no bitching advise given when asked for, think it may have something to do with nothing under 14.2 = no kids and the YO is great any problem sorted. Won't be moving from here.

Me cos my 3 live at home, which is fab cos I'm a grumpy old bag & there's no-one to annoy me :-))) I get first (and only) dibs on the school, I can be as tidy or untidy as I like and no-one ever 'borrows' my equipment or hay!

Sorry cant quote on my phone :D haha trust me its not for my benefit..;).its a bit of a shock when you walk round the corner and a lady livery is having a pee in public view on the grass merryily chatting away to me! Lol i was a bit :o

Me- luv it!

Fab facilities, staff, other liverys (well the 1 exception!) YO etc

Yeah I'd luv it not 2 b 45min drive away but no chance i'll b leaving!

Oh & at yard Xmas night out me & horsey won the cup 4 being most improved pair!! Now the fights on 2 defend my title this year (obv pending a saddle that fits!)

I do :).

Been there almost 8 years now.

Came very close to moving last year for financial reasons but YO sat me down for a chat and we found a way for me to stay.

Sooooo glad I didn't move. YO and Mr YO have been so good to me over the years and I will always be grateful.

A good friend of mine moved off the yard (for financial reasons) and spent a year from hell, bouncing around horrid yards and mad YO's before coming back last weekend.
She'd rather eat rice and beans all year and be poor than move away again!

I don't think I could ever leave now.
