Lovely Northamptonshire again!

I bought a pair on ebay (no make on them, unfortunately) and they're great for turning out in, now I need another pair for visiting horse and can't find any big enough. They need to be big enough to be LONG, longer than the horse's heels, ideally dragging on the ground kind of thing - they're sacrificial, I want them trashed rather than the horse pulling a shoe off. I really want pull-on not velcro or tab because both of those can fall off more easily.
Do they make overreach boots in Shire size? Maybe that's what I need... ;) ;)
Thanks.

Will watch with interest as OH's big lad with soup plates for hooves has just trashed his, cant find any thing else that doesn't look like a 'fringe' around the top of his feet:(

We have Percherons that are Shire size and I did buy them pull on over reach boots but it was a couple of years ago and I have no idea what make they are - sorry no help am I

There is a web site called Bighorses.co.uk or something like that, maybe if they don't have them you could email them and ask?

I am looking for some XL or XXL in red for my sister's eventing mastadon, and came across "extra deep" O/R boots from a popular HKM seller on Ebay whose name has escaped me (but was annasomething I think!). No red though so no good for me, but might suit you??

I be keeping a eye on this as Beau's one's are looking worse then wear!! Could really do with some new ones can't find any that are deep enough to prevent him pulling off his egg bar shoes!! The pair Ive got now are Rindgold sp??

I know you said you don't want ones with the velcro tab, but the Woof Wear Kevlar overreach boots in size XL look like lampshades. They are extra deep in heel depth so fantastic for compulsive shoe 'puller offers'! I use them on my gelding who is awful at standing on his shoes and yanking them off. He lived in the them 24/7 last winter and they never came off -even in all the bog like mud we had. They are not cheap because the Kevlar is expensive but they won't get lost and they do take a beating. Worth considering perhaps?

Oops! That was the one! I have only used her once, but have to say she went above and beyond in my case... There must be someone else selling the same thing??

Kerilli- We have to turn my sisters horse out in OR boots, but we find the rubber pull on ones turn up, so we have the Premier Equine ones with velco NEVER turn up and are brill for field, not expensive either and they do XXL, Jack has had them about 3+ years they have alot of nicks in them where he has caught them but never injured himself, and they dont rub.

I get mine off ebay they are masta velcro ones and xxl they are fab sellers name is georges-tack-box come up very big easily cover full foot and touch floor comfortably on my 17.2 WB Really fast delivery too x
