The mingey cat brought the worlds most mahussive rat in the house through the window early hours of Tuesday morning:eek: it was easy half the size of the cat.....stupid soddin cat let it go:mad:, under the coocker....and we senft the damn thing under to chase it out, but he kept playing with it:rolleyes:
It finally shot out at bloody 4am "cue , me sitting in dressing gown patiently waiting" and OH starkers:D being bossed about by me "smack it with the broom", anhooo....it came running out like lightening, "rotti did a runner":( and flick grabbed the big b****** and squeezed the life out of it, like a squeeky toy, then proceeded to take it up stairs to bed no doubt:eek:

Ratting whippet for lease..........

Go Flick, well done him :D :D :D I wont let mine go after rats in case they are bitten, is that being really stupid? I hate the damn things..

Nope Im not keen on the feckers either, they are dirty beasties, I had no choice, flick was like lightening, I never even saw it scurry it was that quick, he killed it immediately, probably better death than from the cat, who was howking it about everywhere.
He is vaxed so not to worried unless he can get anything other than lepto from the beastie, but I do prefer them to stay away from them.

 think I might need a dog like this... cat brought a live mouse in as a present a couple of days ago  . The cat , terrier and sprollie are useless :( we've had to get traps (highly intelligent mouse hasn't gone near them) what to do...

I remember my D freaking out and running off when I showed her a mouse, I was kinda hoping she would have gobbled it up in one go and saved me a job :p
Some big dogs just can't cope with tiny things :D

Contrast that with a colleague's deerhound who managed to catch and kill a fox - the day before he was being taken to Crufts, he had a lot of explaining to do to the judge about why the dog's face was covered in talc :p

easy solution....u can hire flick-a-me-the-whip-a-me, thats his silly name:o:D.....but the rats don't know he is flick the Rip to them:D:D

The rotti was totally freaked out:rolleyes:

LMAO re the deerhound:D:D OH had a dog was he was younger that killed a fox, he was a whippet x grey, with bull in him, cos he was a hefty lad.
He had also killed a goat b4 he landed with OH:eek:

We don't get many rats, but the cats like to bring in rabbits at this time of year, which the IGs then steal from them and argue over. Usually not much left of them by the time everyone has had a go :(

Only problem is, rabbit gives one of our IG's a poorly tum, whether bought from the game keeper or caught by the cats.
