Who ratted me out?

Iv just found out.. that my rants i posted a few months ago got round to my x-instructor. A girl who has now left - shed some light on the situation. Well thanks whoever ratted me out because if I had went back there I would have been subject to the things they had planned to do to me.

Its not very fair on me. I am entitled to an opinion. And though I moved on from that riding school. I feel betrayed.

Thanks for the support of others though.

I wasn't around then, so I didn't see your posts, but to be frank this is a public forum - whenever you post something on the internet, you're running the risk that anybody could see it. You are entitled to an opinion, but be careful about where you broadcast it! You never know who's reading forums.

Totally agree. None of your posts were particularly complementary about the riding school you were at!
 
Could've been anyone - could've been the instructor themselves.

This forum can be read by anyone, and unless you ask for a post to be deleted than it remains on here for all to see - in that respect, when you post something ask yourself whether you'd be happy for it to appear in a newspaper and/or whether you'd be happy to say it to someone's face.
 
Did you say where the place was? maybe you shouldnt have given any specific details, how did they know it was them you wrote about?
 
I have no idea who you are or anybody you know, but that is always a risk you take when you post on a PUBLIC Forum. Anybody anywhere could have read it.
 
Like others have said it's a public forum. Perhaps no-one 'ratted you out', and even if they did then so what?! If you had genuine worries or complaints then couldn't you have discussed it with the school/instructor instead of ranting on here?!
 
I think i remember your posts and you were very specific in what you said if memory serves me correct.

This is a public forum and therefore what you rant about on here may well leak into the real world.
I can imagine they were quite cross after the things you said alot of it could have been very damaging to theire reputation.
 
TBF you only have yourself to blame. yes you are entitled to your opinion but if you express this on a public forum OTHER people will read them- they may be strangers or they may be people you know- thats life. some people i know in RL come on here and i'm sure everyone has the same. i remember people warning you at the time that someone from the RS might read your posts so you were warned!
 
Yes, I warned you this might happen but you carried on regardless. Don't try to find someone to blame, you are responsible for your postings.

Stop acting like a silly little girl and take responsibility for YOUR actions.

You shouldnt say anything you arent willing to say to someones face, it always comes back to bite you anyway.

I havent got a clue who you are, where you live or what RS you were at. More so I dont care.

How childish to come on here and post something so silly blaming people for your own mistakes.
 
Your rant led to 3 pages of conversation in which the yard you were at was named and had a link to it, i appreciate this wasn't posted by you but i can quite understand why anyone with connections to the yard were upset. This forum is open to all and you were quite upset, which is not a good combination. You said you are 13, still very young and hopefully this may teach a valuable lesson. Sorry for being the grumpy mum!
 
God i can remember you. You went into ALOT of detail about that yard and ranted on and on for ages, i'm sorry but i really think someone from that yard is a member on here and has seen it. At the end of the day we all need to let off steam occasionaly but you don't need to put details of said place/people that you are slagging off and if you do you run the risk of someone seeing it! Don't blame people on here!
