Hi everyone, who remembers me?
I haven't posted for a while, personal reasons, but I've lurked and kept an eye on everyone!
A little update from me...I'm good, we're all good, me hubby and Poppy. Sadly the baby wasn't meant to be, but that's the way it is sometimes I suppose.
Vogue's doing well, we had a lovely end of summer/autumn hacking and playing, just chilling together really, we really enjoy each others company, which is why I got her really. She got cellulitis not long after christmas and had a period of Trimedazine and Bute, and the vet recommended trying her living out well rugged, which she hated and began whittling valuable weight off, hubby made her a coralle type turnout attached to her stable which seemed to do the trick. I haven't really done much with her riding wise since christmas, and am hoping to start bringing her back into work in the next couple of weeks.
Effpee the obese pony I ended up with is no longer obese *big cheer*
If I'd honestly known how hard it is to shift pony fat I probably would have thought twice about agreeing to have him! I wish I'd had a pedometer or something and actually totted up the miles I clocked up with that damned thing! He's now quite a svelte little chap-and he doesn't lather up waddling round the block which is certainly a bonus!
We have a corner of the garden with a bench under the trees that we call 'Henrys Corner'. We have a little plaque just saying

So much love, so little time
I intended to scatter his ashes when it was finished, but I can't, not yet.
So he sits in my living room. Poppy calls it Mummies Hedry angel box, which is sweet. Bless her, I don't know whether she remembers him, or his memory, if you know what I mean. She's not three yet, and so often chatters away about him. I think she just repeats bits that she's heard me say, but with her own take on it, which is quite funny.
So that's us for now. I hope that everyone's ok, I'm sorry for those of you who've lost horses recently, I really am.
Take care everyone xx
