For the last couple of years xmas day has been the first day I jump Flynn since his holiday. Dad, mum sis and bro come to watch and laugh at us as he spends the whole time bucking and leaping!!!
Sis is gonna join in wiv hers this year as well!!!

Always! Love the peace and quiet but you have to time it right! Miss the church runs and the out to lunch crew. It's pretty good about 8am if the weather isnt too bad!

I usually have no staff on Christmas Day and with around 20 stabled horses to feed, muck out, turn out, exercise etc - and another 20 odd in the fields to hay, water and check - and OH's horse to get ready for Boxing Day, who has time for Christmas?

Thankfully this year won't be QUITE as bad as one member of staff's family 'do' Christmas on New Year's day as her Mum works Christmas Day - but it'll still be pretty busy.

It's a tradition to ride out on my two boys on Christmas day and we always ride home to mine ..... and after a year off when my old boy was so very ill in 2005 we managed it last year again and I have everything crossed for this year, regardless of the weather!!!!
I get so very jealous when I see others riding out so cannot possibly consider not riding out

Was going to hack down to the village pub for a drink. Cant ride at mo as injured however, so the horses will get a day off. They are at home so they will get done in between cooking dinner and opening presents.
