Just wondering who rode today in this gorgeous weather? :D Took ym new horse (had him for 4 weeks) for a really long hack by himself. Decided to make the most of how nice the weather was today as I doubt we will see anything like this again for a while!
:)

No. :( My mare very proudly showed me her shoeless hoof this morning. I spent ages looking but I cannot find where she hid it. I'm sure that as soon as the farrier puts a new one on, it will rain for a month.

What gorgeous weather?? Been pretty grey and drizzly in London :( once I've finished work at 7-ish, commuted home and driven to the yard I'm hoping to ride.........assuming I can summon up the energy.

I did!! Had a lovely 20 mins in the arena, Meg went nicely and then we popped over a few jumps that were out - makes me wonder why I look at some of them and think 'cripes - its huge', when its time to jump we fly and love it!! After that, I went on a 20 min hack down the lane... glorious weather, had a fab day.
Then playing with Penny foal (AKA foalie features!!) in the field... she now likes polos - thankyou, and is super good at cuddles too!! I had to let her little halter out 2 holes, which must mean she is growing - FAST!!!

Talking of dead sheep I did once find a skull out hacking and I'm sure it was a sheep :| not very nice!

Aww that's fab flying solo!

Just sat watching the weather forecast and they are saying it's looking bright again tomorrow! Fingers crossed, not quite sure what's going on with the weather atm!

Thanks, its taken 8 walking lessons to establish brakes and leg yields
But hey we're finally there! Roll on a few nice dry days, they're just what I need to start hacking out :)

Went out for a lovely hack with my sister - we found a fab bridle path which we didn't know was there!! Needs a full day to explore though - goes on forever and there are different routes to take :D

nope :( I broke my toe yesterday and my horse is in desperate need for clipping so I guess in that respect the timings worked, but a bit annoyed cause the weather was gorgeous!

No, had a competition yesterday and he was a star so he had a day off, as I only had about 6 hours sleep over the whole weekend with working and dressage I have been doing sod all today to recover!! Also need to look after my wrecked shoulder lol and it needed a rest today!

Me!!

Hacked out after work and then did a few minutes schooling. Felt good to have my first proper canter in a while (just bringing horse back into work after a year off) :)

Yes went for an hour and half hack with 2 friends in the sunshine. Just finished 3 nights this morning so was a lovely treat and kept me awake :)

ooooh i did :D

the beast decided she would lose 2 shoes so had to rid ein the school, but did have my first canter in a very long time :D - reschooling the 5yr old :)

I did! very happy about the weather because last 2 days we got soaked so cantering in bright sunset light made a nice difference :) also tried a new bit and it's a world of difference!!! so we had very happy very productive 50 mins of schooling today :)
