advertised my rising 3 3/4 tb unbroken gelding on horsemart last tues , had loads of emails and facebook inquiries he was viewed yesterday by a very suitable family and sold for full asking price of £1700 only one prob , we bred him and i dont want him to go!!!!!

Oh no poor you! Maybe they'll keep in touch with his progress and you could visit him in his new home? Or would a complete break be better?
Years ago my dad sold my pony to people on the same yard I was on, it was awful seeing her every day but her not being mine especially as the new owners thought they knew everything but didn't, and she wasn't kept as well as I had kept her. It was a horrible situation!

the people buying rocky are dedicated knowledgeable and really nice i,m hoping we can keep in touch and see him compete in the future the mare i sold back in 1998 still sends me a xmas card every year lol

That is one of the joys of Facebook..you might be able to keep in touch or see how he is doing on their page..

It is horrible to sell something on that's why i never have..
