Who to get to check horsebox?

I'm looking to buy a small 3.5tonne lorry in the next few weeks, but have no idea what I should be looking for in terms of build quality.

Is there anybody who provides a "lorry checking" service? I know the AA will do a mechanical check, but I was thinking more in terms of making sure that the bodywork etc is fit for purpose..

There are people who do horsebox vettings advertised in HH. If its a newish one, proffessionally built, it maybe worth finding out who built it and getting feedback on the builder.
