Who to report suspicious behaviour to?

I was walking the dog earlier and we went past a paddock with three shetlands and a horse in. A load of kids were on the gate shouting at them and a couple of them kept going in and out. I did tell them to leave them alone but they ignored me

TBH the horses weren't overly bothered but the kids were getting rowdier and I'm worried something will happen. The local police station doesn't open in the evenings and they won't send someone from Stow for that - is there anyone else to report it to? I have no idea who the horses belong to...

Regardless of opening hours... you should report this behaviour to the police. Then you have done your bit... and they should act.... Its not one for animal charities until something has happened... but the police can act...

There is a non emergency police number for each local area, if you ring that they will pass it on to the nearest officers.

Do you know where the owners live? Maybe a house by their land etc? May be good to drop them a line.

No idea who the owners are. I sent my dad down there in the end and he told them to get lost - 9 kids might not be scared of me but they are of him

He's going to pop down during teh day tomorrow and see the owner - they are obviously well cared for so someone must be down reularly.
