We're looking to change from Bedmax to something cheaper.

Ours are on mats, and don't get proper beds as they're so damn messy, so they only get a small amount on the floor to soak up wee.

Any experiences? x

I'd be interested in answers to this too. Cedars - how much are they a bag?

Hoping to keep ours out 24/7 this winter but need some bedding in reserve just in case xx

I used to but since moving yards we have shavings supplied so use them.

I thought they were nice shavings, soaked up the wet well and weren't too dusty. If I didn't have shavings supplied I'd definitely buy them again. :)

We changed from straw to the CW wood chip and there brill and at £4.99 very cheap as well, so much easier to muck out as well.

Oh and they give a quantity discount as well the price goes down the more you buy, our store offers discount at 10 bags and over.

Haven't used bedding but c'wide discounts are awesome! Prices drops at 10, 20 and 30+ bags (same on feed and horsehage hay stuff) and most stores deliver for a tenner (which for ne works out cheaper and easier than going up in my truck/ trailer)
