She's very lovely.

I found my vet's weighbridge weighed my H/W cob at 40 kg heavier than my weigh tape. (An old Horse and Rider one.) However, this could be partly explained by my lads ability to breathe in while I pull the tape really tight. :D:D
 
not changing my mind but difficult as i'm going off what i think she'd weigh tape at - and we all know that can be significantly different to what they actually weigh!!

so want both answers pls - weigh tape and actual :D
 
Blimey....my 17.2 ISH was 680 when weighbridged so I thought yours would be a fair bit less than that. Definitely shows appearances can be deceptive.
 
Big lad! I really wish Olive was 16h. I wanted smaller for confidence but now reckon I could handle a bigger beast. Oh well if that's all I have to complain about she can't be bad.

Hey! My big boy was 787kgs on the weighbridge! He's a ClydiexWB not a beastie!!!!

p.s. with a weight tape (bearing in mind that they don't go high enough) I had estimated that he was about 650kgs! Wouldn't recommend anyone relied on these tapes for any form of accuracy!!!

Woo hoo!

I have had the guys from Pure Feed come and do my horses a few times and we put a few of the other horses on the yard on the weigh bridge so have got a much better eye for it now than a few tears ago.

As a guess on the weigh tape, hmm... reckon it will say 625kgs. Haven't used a tape for about 5 years so that really is a guess!
 
My boy is a 18.1 chunky Clydesdale. We estimated him at a ton. So did every vet that did his injections. He went to vets earlier this year and imagine our shock and all the vets who were placing bets lol when he was weighed his was 849. So massively under what we all assumed.
Definitely worth getting them weighed properly :/
