I only wear them in the winter, can't stand them in the summer. Although I wear them religiously for unloading horses ever since I got my finger skinned when she spooked coming out of the box!
I always wear gloves for riding, lungeing and leading the babies if iknow they are likely to play up. Think its BHS health and safety that was previously drummed into me. You HAVE to wear gloves for practically everything!
I never wear gloves at home, what ever I am riding, 1 I hate them, 2 when you are riding loads it is a pain to have to keep taking them off and putting them back on again to wash off and tack up etc.
I basically only wear them for hunting/competing, sometimes a lesson and lunging youngsters I dont know.
I always wear gloves, I love my gloves they are very comfy and fit brilliantly plus they aren't overly thick so I can tack up with them on etc.
For hacking I wear my gloves and a pair of the thin £1 ones over the top. They are white for more visable hand signals.
Gloves always. Putting on gloves to ride is for me as natural as putting on my riding hat, or as putting on the seat belt in the car (something doesn't feel quite right if you forget to do it!).
Any gloves for schooling, but Hi-Viz ones for hacking.
