Who went to the Titchfield show today?

I did - saw Catwithclaws do very well with her mare!

Lots of ponies I wanted to bring home! Was smaller than I expected though? I understand its usually busier?

Hopefully she will post a pic! she was in the jumping...cannot remember the height.

Another friend was in the unregistered...but her boy decided to go backwards and wouldn't stand and she moved from first to 5th! he was very cheeky!

My friend had her super cate 20yo shetland in 2 classes.

Which classes were you in?

I've won two firsts there in the past showing my TB mare. The judge loved her :) I jumped there once too but the ground was always atrocious - was it at the farm on Segensworth road?
Sadly I'm horseless now and didn't know it was on.

couple of friends went
one with gorgeous grey filly arab won her class :D first outing with her too which was fab.

other friend took her new welsh D came 5th in M & M and last in in hand class but she was still pleased with how he was so well behaved :D

they have posted pics up on FB.

was thinking about it, but my welsh D is lean and fit now for dressage and pleasure rides, so showing would have been a waste of diesel and entry fees!

The judges were making comments about horses weight.....weirdly tho...my friend was pulled up regarding her shetland...he is NOT in any way overweight...can feel/slightly see ribs, no crest. no fat lumps or apple bum! we were pretty confused?? There were a number of fatties tho :(

There was a HUGELY FAT pony at a local today - won everything - oh dear,no wonder I don't show anymore, I have just stopped enjoying it, it's not sour grapes either because I have shown all of mine and have won and been well placed, but I find myself just not agreeing with the amount of weight required in this day and age. I think the problem is getting worse, not better.

Went to Titchfield show Had a good day won riding horse and working hunter (although my I add the jumps were ridiculous) and championship,Can anyone tell me who the photographers were?

Thanks parker79 - Megan and I came third in the beginners jumping and my friend then took her over and came 3rd in the 2'3 open, she would have done a bigger class but the jumping ring was so slow and we couldn't be bothered to wait lol. I have in fact got a video of my jumping round but am too embarrassed to put it up on here :o

Ooh - love the pics...my friends little shettie looks fab on his pics!

CWC - Pm me the vid! you have NOTHING to be embarrassed about...like I said you did really well! I saw your girl hesitate and then leap...you sat it really well!
