Who would you go with regarding passports?

OK, I have a half ID who could be registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society but if I want to show her at County Level I need to register her with the Sports Horse people.

Does that mean I need to register her with both? (Double Cost)? or is there a way around it?

How do we benefit being with the Breed Society?

All comments and thought gratefully received?

If you can register with the IDHS and get a full passport with them, that's the way I would go for sure. You can then have it overstamped by the SHB (costs £25, just done Joey!). That will also enable you to do Part Bred ID classes, if you only passport with SHB, that won't. There are several registers with them for exactly your horse (by RID out of ??; by ?? out of RID mare and so on)

Think it's a given that if you have full breeding papers then you should register first with your own breeding society.
