What a fabulous happy report! 
I'm so glad to read it, especially after the worrying and unsettling transition you've had. I rode at a hunter/jumper place for a short while after getting back into horses, and I found it very very confusing!

Sounds like you have had a lot to over come but have really got to grips with it all. Looking forward to lots more successful reports.
