I've justhad a call from a French Bulldog breeder up North who is expecting a litter. She only charges £1000 for the boys but is still recommended by the Society secretary....said that she's not getting into pricewars and can be more picky as to where they go!

I'm very excited as that would work well with my moving in date!!

glad your happy. loads of rescue dogs (esp bull dog types) looking for a lovely home. its a lot of money to spend on a dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please please do consider a rescue one!! i have had a couple and they have been fab! happy christmas (most breed societies have a rescue/rehomeing group for the particular breed and usually never the dogs fault)

I've had this debate before - I rescued a dog last year and had to rehome as I didn't have the time or energy to sort his issues (and he had alot!)

I'm not putting myself through that heartache again......maybe once I've established a puppy and it's a few years old I'd rescue as there would be another dog to look up to!
