Need a battery operated v quiet small pair of clippers just for ears, eyes etc. not for the whole horse. He’s fine about everything except he’s a little sensitive on ears/eyes (owner says he had an ear infection a long time ago that he still remembers the vet clipping his face and ears!)

Am at Burghley (yay! I’ve arrived!!!)
So I thought I could look here to see if there’s anything suitable.

Thanking you all in advance.

Save your money and buy some cheap (£30) dog clippers from amazon or ebay, I’ve done this and they’re great!
I bought the Oneisall ones. I bought them to use to desensitise, didn't expect them to actually work. They went through the December coat of my unrugged draft horse! I actually did a full clip, took ages but the battery lasted for the whole clip.

I bought another set and some spare blades. Highly recommend.

The Liveryman Harmonies are well worth it if the budget stretches that far.

Use a narrow blade for heels and fiddly bits, or the wide blades for a full clip. They are small and easy to hold. The blades come in all grades from surgical fine to extra coarse.

Full clip on senior mare earlier this summer.

that's a lovely clip on the mare. I never thought of getting the wide blades for the whole lot as well I just got the narrow ones. Will have to get the wide ones as well now as it is so nice and quiet to use and no lead (as on my lister battery ones) Glad you posted this, thanks.
