acquired another horse..
6yr old tb mare. Think she was trained for the track but didn't actually race. Has been battered around a little apparently so can be nervy. Needs a lot more condition but it's getting better. She's starting to come nicer now but still lots and lots of work to do. First unaffiliated dressage tomorrow!!

shes lovely i like her very much, love the name aswell :) great pic with her just stood watching others all on her own seems very chilled out, good luck with her seems nice report and lots more pics would be nice xxxx
 
She is a lovely looking horse, just my type :), looks like she has bags of potential and a nice temperament as well. Good luck with the dressage tomorrow!

She's not everyones type but she's doing alright so far so hopefully the progress will continue. She can be very tense sometimes and so having to take this really slowly not to frazzle her tiny mind :rolleyes:

Unfortunately she was a bit of a pain in the bum from being spoilt so she's had a few 'oi' moments and has actually decided to come round to the fact that she isn't in charge and that's fine :) so big change in character for the better. Even stood still for the farrier today! :eek: have taken her back shoes off so will post pics of her feet if anyone is interested tomorrow :)
 
Lovely mare! Really like her. I'm sure she will come right with your comittment, patience and good sense. Are you still in Tuscany? The background of your nice photos look rather British!

It's really lovely to hear so many lovely comments, have had a high percentage of negative ones.
It's so lovely to see the difference in her after just a month of working with her :)
No I'm back at university now, but moving to the south of Lincolnshire soon (boston area) and will have a yard etc based there, going to miss Tuscany but it's such an amazing opportunity :)

TBG, she is lovely, looks a very sweet girl, in need of a bit of building up, but Im certain you will get that sorted and have lots of fantastic days ahead. these happy accidents are always the best sortxx

Thank you! Yes I agree, lots and lots of conditioning work needs to be done. Looks so much better than she did, but still so much work to be done. She will probably end up being a project for me to sell on as 4 to just keep is rather a lot ;) xx
