By mistake I have discovered that Mr. Coblet enjoys tempi changes :D

He was feeling rather full of himself the other day and instead of a simple flying change I ended up with a few one tempi changes  Took me by surprise but I'm not going to complain!

I've taken it a step back and introced PLANNED four-tempi changes :o

He does like to to keep me on my toes! :D

Skip to 0.56 for the planned ones lol...need to work on keeping him softer infront through them though :)

Sorry - just a wee bit proud of my little man (he is only 14.1 - I'm a midget )!

Thank you for all your lovely comments! :)

We were 2 points away from qualifying at novice but found out that his membership had lapsed so the points have been scraped =( I am going out in full force this month to try and regain them. We're both a bit inexperienced though - we have only ever done 5 outings so I really need a miracle! :o

very nice!
one tiny little comment I would make is that his canter appears from time to time to be almost 4 time, so just watch that he is going forwards... but he's lovely, and you clearly work very well together - his ears say it all about how much he's listening to you!

Thank you for your comment :) his canter has been what we have struggled with the most. It is difficult to get him working forwards and uphill - he has a tendency to go quite flat and 'pokey nosed' when you send him on! We have been working on this recently though so hopefully I will soon be seeing a change :)
Although saying that, his canter has already come up a lot as he used to be REALLY awfully on his forehand. I accept there is still a lot of room for improvement though!

Thanks though!

thank you for taking it in the spirit it was intended!

I know how downhill cobs can be (mine's the same!). You can see how much he enjoys it though, and his trot after the first canter was much lighter on his feet, and more uphill. I guess because he'd got his hocks under him more to push him uphill.
