* Wave large white pants in air*

Come own up who put these in my washing basket!

have to admit the joke is on you, the label on the inside reads "brave pants" and considering all other jodhpurs had been drooled on i worn them for last nights less

had my first proper trot on Levi in over 18 months (SI damage)

he was a complete pig refusing to go forward running to the wall side ways /back wards even jumping from front legs to back, now normally with would set me in to panic/melt down mode

but last night know i stood my ground and just squeezed and squeezed with a happy voice asking him to "Trooot on levi"

and to my shock after about 5 mins (left like a life time) of arguing we did in fact TROT ON!!

so pleased

and who ever owned this pants you are NEVER! EVER! getting them back!!

any one else had a good week??

tell me what good things have happened for you?? photos welcome!

just like to dd i moved Levi yards 3 weeks ago and was worried he maybe unsettled but he has even gained weight and become more relaxed so some times even though you doubt it change is good!!

good luck fellow HHO-ers!!

Well done you! There is nothing like getting back into the swing of things with a horse after a period of illness or injury, it feels so good to have your partner in crime back!
Not on the same lines, but we've had a good week too. The horses went out onto their summer field yesterday so they are getting their first taste of actual proper grass for months, and we had a fantastic lesson this morning in the sunshine. Really feel we're making some progress at the moment, think my trainer was quite shocked, so I am hoping we can keep it up!

I have had my 6 year old mare for 2 years but lost all confidence riding her. The butterflies would start just thinking about getting on and I would look for excuses not to ride. Moved her and my daughter's horse to a new yard 6 months ago and met a lovely lady would is an instructor. She has been schooling my mare and the difference is amazing! Today, for the first time in over 4 months, I got on my girl in the school. Ok, it was only 15 minutes at the end of her schooling session and I was on a lunge line as a back up, but I rode her. And the best bit?.....glorious weather but not a butterfly in sight!

Went for a little solo hack through the woods and we both enjoyed it! Tis was after deciding to just go along the track to the gate and back. Hooray for brave pants! XX

I had a set made of "Big Girl Pants" (as we call brave pants) and gave them to my horsey friends. Except these are black with purple glitter writing and a picture of a horse on. So far they are working well... One friend has started back after a couple of confidence knocking falls and another wore hers at a national event.

No matter what your riding abilities there are times we all need to put your "Big Girl Pants" on and get on with it!

Well done. I hacked my mare out for the first time post injury (15 months) last weekend. I led her first, got on from a boulder, rode for a little bit, then walked home. She was fabulous and didn't put a foot wrong. Well done to all :)

Great to hear. The behaviour you describe, however, sounds like a horse who is still reluctant to move forward. Presumably you have taken all steps to establish that he is indeed now pain free?
