Who's Clipped already? (Sorry if done before)

I am seriously thinking of getting the clippers out this weekend! My girl has her winter coat and needs a wash off after being ridden.

Is it too soon to clip? Normally I start clipping end of October, but this year I have a hairy sweaty monkey!

I'm very tempted to clip mine as he is needing a full wash off after most rides, I'm going on Holiday on a couple of weeks though so am trying to wait till after that.

We clipped on Monday, we where at a competition on Saturday and they looked like they had been taken in off a mountain!! So now they look super!!

Glutton for punishment I have a 'clipping' fleece that is covered in hair, horrible to wear but does prevent me from getting all my other clothes ruined each year when I de-hair the beasties.

I shook it out at the weekend - hair everywhere!

Did my first one yesterday, promptly kicked in the stomach and reminded as to why I hate clipping and have vowed to sedate all of the others.

I clipped last week as was having a full wash done after every ride. He feels much better now but is still getting very hot. He get clipped early in Sep every year as he gets like a bear.

I'm clipping our mare this weekend and she is normally done mid to end of Oct.
