Just in case we fancy meeting fellow HHOers feel free to post where your competing.

I'm doing dressage at allenshill on Sunday, anyone else going?

Anyone off somewhere more exciting?

Nothing this weekend, but just been to hill view at Malvern to do some schooling today. Really nice arena, she's spent some money there!

Unfortunately nothing this weekend, as did Onley last weekend and then horse had his back done on Monday so no jumping for a week :(

Best of luck to all of those competing this weekend though :D

Great idea for a thread! Mini OB's pony now sold so we are slowly bringing on a young Irish mare and were hoping to go xc schooling at Swalcliffe on Sunday, looks like the weather forecast has put paid to that idea.
RiderLizzie, I'm sorry to hear your horse is lame, missed out on that one, I hope its not too serious?

Dan and I will be attempting more dressage at Beaver Hall this weekend...Really want a 70% day!!! Wont happen but we still hope lol

Swalcliffe ground usually holds up pretty well, but if it snows again like the weather report is saying, it might be a bit tricky!

Will be two weeks lame on Sunday :( Thought it was an abscess, boiling hot hoof and hopping lame, typically farrier had gone on holiday. Poulticed and nothing, farrier came out when he was back from holiday and says it bruised, that was last Sunday.
She is getting better and is only slightly unlevel trotting up on hard surface now, but still a bit  about it. Going to hop on her tomorrow and ride in the arena as she is trotting fine in hand in there, just to see if I can feel if anything going on underneath. Have been walking her in hand just to get her walking and stretching, so will probably start doing so under saddle as of this weekend. Might not be the best thing, but I've not ridden properly for 4 weeks now, and despite mucking out I'm getting unfit now!
Hopefully she'll be fully sound by mid next week so I can start picking her fitness work back up again.
She did the exact same thing last year with a bruised foot, vets trip and xrays showed nothing, and she came sound a few days later! Fingers crossed she does the same this time!

Off to Weston Lawns on Sunday for some arena eventing- was going to do the JAS at Solihull, but entry fee is cheaper at Weston Lawns, plus you can do a dressage test and the xcountry is more like a real xcountry course with water/ditch/steps :) excited!

Soooooooooooooo close...66.1% including his first ever 8!!

Pity he was so spooky...think if he had been a bit calmer we would of reached the elusive 70%

Still very proud of him.

Was Beaver hall alright? Saw they put on facebook this morning they had snow already
Thankfully it didnt snow at solihull till we were leaving, just could have done without getting stuck for 40 minutes on the M42, had to guess my way round the course!
