I'm not flooded but just watching tv and loads of places are flooded!

It's very wet up at the yard and I thinknim going to have one soggy horse!!!

Sorry the sun is out & it said 17 degrees when I just picked up little one from school.
the garden & fields are still like iron with huge cracks in!!
By the way I am in Norfolk, where we always need rain.
OH & I have considered moving to Carmarthenshire but put off by all the rain.

Been raining here in North Wales for two days pretty much solidly.

Luckily the ponies fields are on a hill side, so they can get away from the mud that is getting ever deeper down by the gate.

The river in the village is running high, but it is usually fast flowing anyway, being quite steep. No worries about it bursting its banks though.

The weather isn't that abnormal for round here, so everyone seems to cope ok.

Flooded where I am, my village is cut off due to becks either end bursting their banks :( Pony is kept 6 miles away thankfully I have a very nice person who lives on site who has mucked pony out and will bring her in for me tonight :)

Yes, don't do it ! I used to live in Suffolk where its always fine. Moved to the Staffs/Cheshire border 6 months ago and it has rained heavily virtually all the time. Its grey and wet and the grass never stops growing.

We are slightly, was worse in July though, we have a stream running through the barn, the fields are saturated but the horses are still happy to be out unrugged, they appreciate their haynets though.
Sick of this weather, the fields hadn't drained off from the last time.
Still not long to xmas

North east here, pony stabled 15 miles away and on listening to traffic reports every road I needed to get there was either closed or unpassable.
Was worried sick as had a text from y/o saying stables were all flooded.
Went straight from work and got to stables no problem at all, even on roads that they are still saying are closed.
Stable had to be totally cleared out and re done :-(
Hopefully it will be ok tomorrow.
