who's going to Burghley?

im going on the sunday with daughter as our girls day out before she goes to uni. Have got seats for the showjumping. May go on the Thursday if i can get cheap tickets and the day off work,,, i cant wait either,

I volunteer as a steward on xc day so am really lucky i get tickets for all 4 days. Burghley is like Christmas for me, I get so excited! Hoping for a better event than last year when a brilliant day ended with me holding the poor horse who broke his leg.

I've got tickets for all four days but looking to sell Thursday tickets. Got 4 tickets and will sell for 10 each.

Not been for more than a day before so very excited and hoping to get some goodies for my new horse.

Me too!! Im going on the saturday Im dragging along my non-horsey OH, but im hoping he will be awed by the huge jumps that he will have a new-found respect for eventing. Well; I can live in hope anyway

This is also my hope. My OH's mum started riding about a year ago but OH isn't really interested in horsey stuff. If nothing else he's coming to carry the big buckets of garlic back to the car for me!

Think I'm going with Team Reggie on Weds/ Thurs, then just me and mum Friday, then potentially just me for Saturday, and then me and maybe mum again Sunday! (short version- I'm there from Weds, staying in the caravan bit!)

So excited, my first time ever doing all the days Been almost every year since we started being horsey enough to appreciate it but normally school or work got in the way.

Going on Saturday with OH, my mummy and a 15 month old toddler... Am very excited! We go every year and used to camp before little person arrived.
